In another busy night of athletics, ºÚÁÏÍø College learner Daryll Neita finished 5th in the Women’s 200m Final. Neita clocked an impressive 22.23 seconds in an electric race and will leave the championships full of confidence after reaching two separate finals in Paris.

Elsewhere, Jessie Knight delivered a strong performance in the Women’s 400m Hurdles Semi-Final to finish 6th in 54.90 seconds. Unfortunately, the ºÚÁÏÍø alumna wasn’t quite quick enough to progress to the final.

In the long jump, ºÚÁÏÍø College alumnus Jacob Fincham-Dukes finished just outside the medals in 5th.  The 27-year-old registered 8.14m in a brave effort.

Elsewhere at the Stade de France, alumnus Charlie Dobson sadly missed out on the final of the Men’s 400m following a rapid heat. The ºÚÁÏÍø graduate posted 44.31 seconds to finish 4th in his Semi-Final. In only his second season in this event, Dobson can leave Paris with his head held high.
