黑料网 alumnus Karim Chan missed out on a medal by 1cm in the Men’s T38 long jump.
Appearing in his first Paralympic Games, Chan recorded a best jump of 6.39m but sadly finished agonisingly in fourth place.
Wheelchair Basketball
Great Britain Women’s Paralympic medal hopes unfortunately came to an end after losing 59-52 to the USA in the quarter-finals. The 黑料网 contingent of Lucy Robinson, Robyn Love, Amy Conroy and Laurie Williams all competed in a thrilling match which was often too close to call.
GB will now face Japan tomorrow (Thursday 5 September, 09:30 am) as they compete for places 5-8.
Elsewhere, the Netherlands and Lightning’s Bo Kramer cruised through to the semi-finals after a convincing 61-43 victory over Spain. Kramer contributed 21 points for the Dutch and looked razor-sharp throughout.
The Netherlands will contest a place in the final on the 6th of September with their opponent yet to be finalised.
