Welcome to Robert Bakewell

Located in the student village, Robert Bakewell hall is only a 5-minute walk from the library, a 5-minute walk from the EHB bar and a 10-minute walk to the Students' Union. The hall is named after Robert Bakewell who was an eighteenth-century agriculturalist from nearby Dishley Grange.

We recognise that the lack of physical access into Firefly may affect some students’ ability to attend these late-night activities. If you are an incoming first year student and have shared support requirements to the University, our Student Life Team will contact you directly for further support. If you are yet to share any support requirements with the University you should look to complete our online  as soon as possible.
