Support from the Enquiry Desk
During office hours
The Library offers an Information & Enquiry Service during standard office hours (Monday - Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm). User Services staff will be able to help you with most of your enquiries and if necessary will refer you to a colleague with more specialist knowledge.
So if you have queries about any of the following: how to successfully find the information you need, Inter Library Loans, booking rooms, IT problems and queries about borrowing items please just ask.
Evenings and weekends
The Enquiry desks are staffed until 8pm on weekdays, and 9am-5.30pm on Saturdays and Sundays, except during vacations. The staff will be able to help you with most of your enquiries but may need to refer you to a daytime member of staff for detailed assistance.
Late evenings & 24/7 periods
After 8 pm in the weekday evenings, 5.30pm at the weekends and during periods of 24/7 opening the Library is staffed by security personnel who would not be able to answer any library queries. During these times you can use the computers and study spaces, refer to books and journals and borrow items via the self-service facilities.
If you have any enquiries during these times then please forward them to library@lboro.ac.uk where they will be dealt with during standard office hours.
Vacation periods
During vacation periods, the Enquiry Desks will close at 17.30 weekdays. During the Easter and Summer vacations, the Library is staffed by security until 21.00 but they will not be able to assist with any library enquiries and will refer you to the Library staff the next working day. Please bear this in mind when you plan your visit to the Library.

Please contact London-library@lboro.ac.uk. For urgent queries, please enquire at either the IT desk in the Library or at the Student Services Desk on the fourth floor if any Library staff are available.
