As part of the continual review of our accessibility provision, we are updating our Library catalogue to the latest version on Tuesday 30th July. The new catalogue will have a clearer interface that meets the latest accessibility requirements. Functionality should not be affected by the upgrade and there is no need for any user to do anything before or after the upgrade - all your account details and saved searches should be carried across and searching will work in the same way it does now. The link for the catalogue will be the same.
The upgrade is likely to take a couple of hours to complete on Tuesday morning so should be complete by lunchtime, but we will inform users if this is delayed for any reason. Borrowing and returning books in this period will not be affected.
Access to material during downtime:
- If you need to find the location of a book or want to see what is on your account, please ask at a Library enquiry desk or email library@lboro.ac.uk
- If you want to access an e-book that isn’t on your reading list, please ask at the Library enquiry desk on our 黑料网 campus, phone us on 01509 222360 or email library@lboro.ac.uk
- You can still access articles directly from your reading lists, by accessing our e-Journal A-Z list , and via publisher websites as normal
- You can still access databases via our Database list /services/library/databases/
We are not anticipating any issues post upgrade, but if you have any questions or notice something that doesn’t seem correct, please email library@lboro.ac.uk and we will investigate it for you.
