The University’s is now available.
The new system is attractive, easy-to-use and brings new features, including improved navigation, the ability to change the referencing styles, and set reading intentions. Feedback about the system from staff and students during testing has been very positive.
Library and IT Services staff have migrated the content of current reading lists across from the old system into the new one. You can access your lists either by searching or browsing the system itself and links will be appearing gradually in your Learn modules.
To enable easy access to the new reading lists from Learn, please can Module Leads link their lists to their modules following the steps detailed in the . We also recommend that you claim your lists either as List owner, if you are a Module Lead, or by adding it to the ‘My lists’ feature to enable you to edit more quickly. Please check that your list is displaying as you would like in its new interface and get in touch if you have any questions.
Consultations, webinars and drop-ins are available to support academic staff with adding the link from Learn, checking and editing the lists. Help videos, more detailed advice on checking your migrated lists and information about how to edit your lists are also available on the Help for Staff webpage.
Please note that most reading lists are now only open to 黑料网 staff and students and so you will need to be logged in to the VPN to view them when you are off-campus, just like other University systems.
Whilst we hope staff and students will start using the new system immediately, access to a ‘frozen’ version of the current system will remain available in Learn via the reading list block until the end of the September Special Assessment Period.
If you have any questions or feedback about the new system, please contact your Academic Librarian, visit the Library enquiry desks or email the Library via library@lboro.ac.uk
