Features

Microsoft Teams Phone voicemail is enabled so if you are temporarily unavailable or out of the office. Your voicemail will help you get the most out of your calling experience.

Accessing your Voicemail

How to Access and listen to your Voicemail

To access your voicemail, you will need to:

  1. Click on the “Calls” tab in the left-hand navigation bar in Teams
  2. Along the History bar you will see the Voicemail button in the upper-right corner.
  3. Select the voicemail you want to review
  4. You can now use the details panel on the right hand side to listen to the message

Set your call answering rules and Voicemail settings

To set your call answering rules:

  1. Click on the 3 dots next to your profile picture at the top of Teams
  2. From the pop up menu, Choose "Calls"
  3. You can now configure your call settings

Call History

Using the call history features

Your call history is located in the center of the calls experience and shows a list of past calls (including missed calls).

  1. Click on the “Calls” tab in the left-hand navigation bar in Teams
  2. Your History is located in the centre
  3. You can call or chat with any contacts, add them to speed dial, as well as add them to your contacts.

Adding contacts and Speed dial features

To access your contacts, you will need to:

  1. Click on the “Calls” tab in the left-hand navigation bar in Teams
  2. You will find a list of all your contacts and a search bar 
  3. On the right hand side of the menu, there are a number of options including:
    • Add to Speed dial
    • Audio call
    • Video call
    • Email or chat
