Accessing the service
Once your account has been created (as a result of a successful application for HPC time) then you can access Lovelace via ssh.
Connecting from Microsoft Windows
Most Windows users use PuTTY to connect to Lovelace. PuTTY is pre-installed on centrally supported PCs.
Conecting from Linux or Mac
If you are logging into your account from a Linux or Macintosh computer, you will have ssh available to you automatically, or via the use of your Linux distribution's package manager.
You must log in to your cluster account using secure shell (SSH):
ssh username@lovelace.lboro.ac.uk
...where username
is your University account username.
Access from Off-campus
Lovelace is not accessible from off-campus except by using the VPN service.
