Description of the Works
The work is the second of the four silent fire alarm testing visits to the building.
No sounders or interfaces will be intentionally activated by BTS throughout the process.
Access will be required to all areas (as follows) and keys acquired from E&FM (normally).
The work will take place between (approximately) 3.30 p.m. and 3.30 a.m. from the Monday afternoon through to the Friday morning.
The fire panel being worked on will be isolated from all others in the building and will be monitored for fires that are not part of the testing schedule (should other fires occur, the alarms will be activated as if there was a real fire once it has been confirmed it is not a tester error). The live panels will always be monitored, and should a real fire event occur on them, the fire panel being worked on will be activated accordingly.
There are 8 fire panels in the building, and only one will be offline for testing at a time.
The testing times may vary depending on what faults are called in throughout the site during the day which may need dealing with prior to testing commencing.
Access will be required via passes from those with secure areas to allow us to complete the works as usual.
