Nicola joined the University in August 2024 as Deputy Head of Operations (Business Support Services) for the School of Social Sciences and Humanities.
Nicola has a wealth of experience in Higher Education strategy and operations, having previously worked at the University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam University in a variety of positions including Deputy Faculty Director of Operations, Department Manager, Executive Education Manager and in roles related to education quality and enhancement. Her experience includes leadership of diverse professional services teams to ensure high-quality results across a variety of business functions; the development and implementation of strategic plans; financial planning and student forecasting; research support; educational development and project management.
Nicola holds a Masters in Education from the University of Nottingham, is a member of the Association of Higher Education Professionals (AHEP) and the education strand of the Fulbright Alumni Network.
