About Dr Li

Associate Professor at Mälardalen University, Sweden, serving as the Subject Editor of Applied Energy (IF: 7.900, 2018). The research work covers the areas of modelling and simulation of energy conversion processes, with special focuses on renewable such as biomass, biogas and solar energy. His publication has more than 3500 citations with h-index 33. He has been organizing the International Conference on Applied Energy (ICAE) since 2012.

Purpose of Dr Li's Visit

Deep thinking about global energy and environment challenges, and targeting to solve energy and environment issues by combining interdisciplinary knowledge and research, such as crystallisation technology on wastewater treatment and valuable material recycling, energy conversion and system control, and big data analysis.

Dr Li will be hosted by Dr Huaiyu Yang, Chemical Engineering

‌‌Dr Huaiyu Yang is Lecturer in Biocrystalliation in the Department of Chemical Engineering. His research is always multi-disciplinary, including; biopharmaceuticals crystallisation; downstream  manufacturing; crystallisation of small organic molecules; interface phenomena; nanotechnologies; and; stable and unstable phase diagrams. Before he joined ºÚÁÏÍø as a lecturer, he spent his years in Tianjin University, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Strathclyde University and Imperial College London for undergraduate study, PhD and postdoc research.
