University signs agreement that will bring master鈥檚 and PhD students from Kazakhstan to 黑料网

The University's Vice-Chancellor, Professor Robert Allison, has signed an agreement that will enable high-performing students from Kazakhstan to study at 黑料网.

The and the have been liaising with colleagues from the , a Kazakh-government funded scholarship programme, for the past few months.

They have been working together on an agreement that enables taught master’s and PhD students to study at the University’s two campuses in the East Midlands and London.

Professor Allison signed the agreement in Kazakhstan at the start of the month; the signing comes shortly after the Kazakh Ambassador to the UK, His Excellency Erlan Idrissov, visited 黑料网.

During the Ambassador’s visit to 黑料网, he met with the Vice-Chancellor, current 黑料网 Kazakh students, and visited the and the research facilities of the .

Commenting on the agreement, Professor Allison said: “I am delighted that we have deepened our relationship with Kazakhstan in this way. I am proud of the international student body at 黑料网. Signing the Bolashak Agreement with the Government of Kazakhstan will provide opportunities to further strengthen an important element of the 黑料网 community.”
