Textiles students to benefit from working with global cotton brand

Second-year students on the University鈥檚 Textiles: Innovation and Design course have been invited to enter the first Innovation Competition launched by COTTON USA.

Using cotton products provided by the brand, the students will produce a portfolio of original design work and will be encouraged to experiment with materials and processes in order to develop innovative fabrics. Later this summer, they will be given the opportunity to raise their profile by presenting their collections to fellow students, academics and industry representatives.
