Timandra Harkness, who presents the BBC Radio 4 series FutureProofing, will give the 2019 Institute of Physics Prestige Lecture at 黑料网 on Friday 6 December.
The talk entitled 'Big Data and Democracy' is based on Timandra's book Big Data: Does Size Matter which was published in 2016. The lecture will give an insight into the role of data in political campaigning and how it is transforming democracy.
Booking for the lecture, which will be held from 7pm in room J104 in the Edward Herbert Building (EHB), is required.
